Accessibility Statement
Last updated: February 2026
1. Our Commitment
Jen Clark Design (“JCD”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to ensuring our website, jenclarkdesign.com.au, is accessible to as many people as possible, including people with disability, older people, and people using assistive technology. Accessibility and inclusion are core values reflected in the work we do for our clients, and we hold ourselves to the same standard on our own website.
2. Standards We Aim For
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, which is the accessibility standard commonly referenced under Australian law, including the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (Cth).
Steps we take include:
Using clear headings and a logical page structure.
Providing descriptive alt text for meaningful images.
Maintaining reasonable colour contrast between text and background.
Ensuring the site is usable on a range of devices and screen sizes.
Reviewing new pages and templates for accessibility as part of our design process.
3. Known Limitations
No website is perfectly accessible for every user and assistive technology combination. We are aware that some third-party embedded content, PDFs, or older pages may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA, and we are working to improve these over time.
4. Feedback & Contact
If you experience any difficulty accessing content on our website, or have feedback on how we can improve accessibility, please contact us. We will do our best to respond promptly and provide the information you need in an alternative format where possible.
